The Experience
The experience by Idaho Fashion Week is your opportunity to go beyond the shows, and learn from industry experts ranging from models, photographers, designers, and makeup artists. You'll get to hear about the behind-the-scenes process of designing a collection, get priceless insight into the path toward becoming an internationally-published fashion photographer, and more juicy tidbits from the world of fashion and design.

Have you ever wondered what inspires designers? How a design goes from dress-form to adorning a model at New York Fashion Week? This session is your opportunity to step into the creative process of a designer, and to learn how artists draw inspiration from their experience and the world around them -- leading to the designs you see on runways and in stores. Join us for an engaging conversation on the creative process and how to step into the business of working as a designer. You'll get to ask question of discussion host Kentaro Kameyama, who has the unique experience of having competed in and won season 16 of the hit show Project Runway.

Idaho Fashion Week - The Experience was held on Sunday, June 19th 2022 at the Grove Hotel in downtown Boise, Idaho. Each class will took place in the beautiful Aspen ballroom. The Grove Hotel boasts gorgeous views of the foothills, spacious meeting rooms, upscale services, and a convenient and central downtown location.
